My New Favorite Drink
I am a fan of mixed drinks and lately I have been making them homemade. Last night I was visiting my Brother and Sis In-Law and decided to bring over a new drink to sample. The Lemon Drop. Oh soooooo good! My new favorite. My Sister and I were the ones drinking and boy did we feel it after just one. It is sweet and tart and lemony. I love lemons. Give it a try and let me know what ya think. Enjoy, just don't drink and drive!
Lemon Drop
1 cup Vodka
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
Sugar and water for rims
Lemon Slices
Squeeze lemons then add sugar. Stir to dissolve. Add Vodka. Sugar the rims of your Martini glass. Pour the mixture into your glass. Add a slice of lemon. Bottoms up! You can adjust the Vodka to your liking. Beware this recipe will make you tipsy with one glass!!
